An important discovery in the high quality and low cost treatment of domestic wastewater

Eptec Purification offers compact treatment plants, using proven Bluecon® technology through which domestic wastewater is blued into treated water, irrigation water or even drinking water. Blueconization is a new, mechano-chemical method for domestic wastewater treatment in order to optimize the water circuit in nature. The possibility of blue-watering wastewater from rural or urban communities into water that can be discharged into natural effluents, or used in irrigation, is part of a sustainable policy of environmental protection and water reuse.

Compact units
and modulation

Unlike the large, expensive investments required in the biological (conventional) treatment of domestic wastewater, Eptec Purification offers compact and modular Bluecon® units that can be implemented without complex infrastructure, construction and installation works. Eptec treatment plants can be delivered in a containerized version or on metal chassis (skids) that are easy to install in technical buildings. Eptec Purification provides the installation, operation and service or maintenance of its treatment plants. Optionally, through a multi-year contract, the company can even take over the project investment to guarantee the quality of the effluent and not burden the beneficiary.

The Eptec treatment plant is the result of a Dutch-Romanian collaboration and uses Bluecon® technology designed in the Netherlands, developed in the Netherlands and Romania – tested and proven in different locations around the world with different types of influencers. The development of Bluecon® as a product was supported and funded by the Dutch government and the Dutch Water Partnership, an annual collaborator of the Romanian Water Association with the support of the Dutch Embassy in events organized under the Bilateral Treaty.

The 5 Bluecon® steps for a cleaner environment!

The physical purification process begins with the Super-Flotation module which consists of a pressurized reactor and a separation unit (flotation). In the reactor the wastewater is treated by destabilizing the surface molecular charge. The molecules are forced to adhere to each other forming growing molecular agglomerations. In the flotation unit these agglomerations are separated in the mud part and the water part. The sludge is transported on the sludge line for dehydration, stabilization and hygiene.

The resulting sludge is stabilized, sanitized and can be used in forestry, acid soil improvement and agriculture (further studies may be required)

Grill and Coarse Particle Filter> 1mm.

The water is further treated in the Super-Filtration module to remove any remaining particles.

Bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms are neutralized in the Disinfection Module.

The last step is to improve water quality to ensure the parameters imposed by NTPA001. Blueconized water can be discharged into the emissary or used as a valuable resource in irrigation.
